The 5 Phase Path is a complete internal training journey for restoring coherence in the body, mind, energy, and spirit.

This goes beyond ordinary exercise.
It is more than abstract philosophy.
It is a practical path of transformation through the body.

Through five progressive courses, you learn how to release deep tension, grow internal support, walk with effortless power, reintegrate what has become fragmented, and fortify yourself with luminous resilience.

You do not need prior Tai Chi experience.
You do not need to be flexible, strong, or spiritual.
You only need the willingness to begin where you are.

What This Path Develops

  • Deep nervous system regulation
  • Emotional steadiness under pressure
  • Internal support without rigidity
  • Effortless movement and grounded presence
  • Whole-body coherence
  • Resilience without hardness
  • A practical embodied path of transformation

This path is for people who sense that healing, strength, movement, awareness, and spiritual growth are not separate things.

They are phases of one return.

Programs in This Path

  • Deep Stillness & Release — dissolve unnecessary tension and return to calm
  • Living Pressure & Growth — develop internal fullness, resilience, and support
  • Effortless Walking — discover natural power through settling and buoyancy

Each course may be practiced independently, but together they form a complete transformational arc.

Tai Chi Walking

Foundational · Practical · Immediate

The simplest way to feel what Tai Chi really is.

Most people try to move before their weight has settled. This creates tension, imbalance, and unnecessary effort.

Tai Chi Walking teaches you to let your weight settle, allow lightness to rise, and move from a calmer, more integrated body.

You will learn how to stand, shift weight, balance on one leg, and walk with greater ease — using the movement you already do every day.

Best for:

• Complete beginners
• Improving balance and coordination
• Reducing effort in daily movement
• Learning the foundation of Tai Chi without memorizing a form
• Students preparing for Tai Chi Flow, Tai Chi Strong, or Tai Chi Vitality

Deep Stillness & Release

Restorative · Regulating · Deeply Calming

Deep Release & Stillness teaches you how to let tension unwind, soften internal resistance, and settle into a calmer, more spacious body.

Through simple seated, standing, and inner-awareness practices, you learn how to release unnecessary effort and return to a natural state of ease.

Best for:

• stress relief
• nervous system regulation
• chronic tension
• emotional decompression
• learning Song through stillness
• students who want the calming side of Tai Chi before deeper movement training

Living Pressure & Growth

Grounded · Supportive · Resilient

Living Pressure & Growth teaches you how to soften without collapsing and become more supported from within.

Through simple standing, releasing, and awareness practices, you learn how the body can become fuller, steadier, and more connected without strain or force.

This course helps you develop the embodied foundation of internal strength: relaxed support, natural posture, fascia connection, and resilience under pressure.

Best for:
• building strength without tension
• improving posture and groundedness
• releasing without losing structure
• feeling more connected in your body
• students preparing for deeper Tai Chi, Qigong, or internal power training

Return to Wholeness

Integrative · Coherent · Transformative
Coming July 2026

Return to Wholeness teaches you how to hold coherence in awareness while meeting the places in the body, mind, and emotional field that still feel fragmented.

Many practices teach release. Many practices teach strength. This course teaches reintegration.

You learn to recognize the felt sense of wholeness, remain connected to it, and allow areas of tension, confusion, numbness, or resistance to return into the larger field of embodied coherence.

This is the fourth phase because after stillness, growth, and movement, the deeper work is no longer about isolated techniques.

It is about becoming whole again.

Best for:
• deep integration work
• emotional and somatic coherence
• resolving inner fragmentation
• restoring connection between body, mind, and awareness
• students drawn to healing, meditation, and transformation
• practitioners seeking to integrate their dantian, greater cosmic orbit, and silk reeling channels

Golden Bell Qigong

Resilient · Luminous · Unbreakable

Golden Bell is the Qigong practice of becoming structurally, energetically, and psychologically unbreakable—without becoming rigid.

While gentle in appearance, it develops a deeper level of vitality, durability, and energetic coherence. The body becomes calm, full, bright, and resilient.

Golden Bell is not about armor made of hardness.

It is the radiance of a body so integrated that pressure no longer breaks its center.

This is the fifth phase because the path does not end in softness alone. It culminates in embodied integrity: open, calm, powerful, and free.

Best for:
• building resilience and durability
• strengthening without hardness
• energetic coherence and protection
• deep Qigong and internal power training
• practitioners ready for profound internal work
• becoming steady, luminous, and fearless under pressure

Recommended Path

If you are new, begin with Effortless Walking.

It is the clearest doorway into the 5 Phase Path because it is the simplest way to feel how your body was always meant to feel: weight settling, lightness rising, balance improving, and movement becoming easier.

From there, continue through the sequence:

Deep Stillness & Release → Living Pressure & Growth → Effortless Walking → Return to Wholeness → Golden Bell

For stress, tension, and emotional decompression:
Deep Stillness & Release

For resilience, confidence, and internal support:
Living Pressure & Growth

For balance, ease, and natural movement:
Effortless Walking

For deep healing and integration:
Return to Wholeness

For energetic integrity and profound resilience:
Golden Bell

You may enter through the course that calls to you most.

But the full path reveals the complete arc:
release into stillness, grow through pressure, move with ease, return to wholeness, and become luminous under all conditions.

A Complete Path of Embodied Transformation

The 5 Phase Path is for those who want more than temporary relief.

It is for those who want to understand how the body releases, how strength grows from softness, how movement becomes effortless, how awareness restores wholeness, and how resilience becomes luminous.

This is internal practice made clear, accessible, and deeply practical.

Not belief.
Not performance.
Not force.

A return to what is already whole beneath the tension.

Testimonials

“I told my students it's like going to your favorite store every day for years (Tai Chi) and suddenly you find a whole new room with even more delightful things to discover. ”

“I was looking for this kind of explanation! You answered my questions in a manner I could easily understand and followed up with effective demonstrations. ”

“I signed up for the [Fascia Mastery] course. At first, I was a little skeptical. I just finished lesson 4 and for me I think it's worth every penny. To be honest, I learned from a Sifu for 10 years and have never had this kind of knowledge. Thanks, Sifu Lin.”

“As a long-time martial arts practitioner and physiotherapist as well I recently completed Sifu Lin's Fascia Manipulation course online and I found it to be invaluable knowledge. The whole world is still only dwelling on muscles and leverage, but the fascia manipulation layer is an absolute game changer. I highly recommend his course.”

“As someone training BJJ for almost 10 years i know from experience that what is explained in these lessons exists and is the true way of attaining greater mastery over your own body and mind as well as over your opponent’s energy being projected on to you. It truly is fascinating what our bodies are capable of. I’m now practicing daily the 8 Silk Brocade Qigong as well as the Fascia course and managing to apply in real life sparring for now little but fascinating elements of your teachings Master. When it works it truly feels like magic, like a black belt level details on grappling that BJJ instructors don’t talk about. ”

“I am a 63-year martial artist with 50+ years of experience in a variety of arts. About he last 35 has been focused on Wing Chun. So, touching hands and contact reflexes are really a part of my wheelhouse. This training is the icing on the cake for me. What I understand about typical Tai Chi training is that the usual way to do this is to learn the form, learn various push hands, learn applications, learn weapons (if it is actually taught) and then after many years of practice you (if you are lucky) you get to have a big "uh huh" (enlightenment) experience and can really do the internal part of the art. And, through all of that you have a teacher who has a huge investment in milking the process for all its worth. This is not my experience of Sifu Lin. Instead, he is teaching the "secret sauce" that makes this all work right from the beginning of your training. Which in turn speeds up your learning curve exponentially. (No milking and less frustration with the process) How he is able to do this is through very quick paradigm shifts. Fascia mastery is the content, and each subsequent course creates a contextual shift and builds on that by expanding your awareness through the various energetic distinctions (energies: Song, Qi, Neijin and Yi respectively). As far as I'm concerned this is the way to learn Tai Chi. Think about it... Now I have mastery that I can put into my practice and grow my practice through mastery rather than have an empty practice over 10-20 years that probably won't yield any result beyond the superficial.”

“It is a great boon to humanity when that rare Teacher arrives who is able to communicate complex topics and distinctions in a clear, simple and organized way that leads to RESULTS. This is so evident in several ways: First, in the comments section of your videos, especially from advanced students who have been on the path for a long time and yet finally understand how to incorporate and utilize internal power, which had previously just been a concept or abstraction for them. Second, by the level of detail in your training videos, where you are integrating and synthesizing so many different principles, many of which I had never come across despite being in the Qigong and energy healing arena for a long time now. They have been well-kept secrets indeed....until now ! Lastly, by your personal example you embody the principles of psycho-spiritual integration that develops as a result of deep internal practices, things which include kindness, generosity, and a keen intellect. Thank you Shifu Lin.”
